Upstairs, Downstairs, and All Around the Town!

For three decades homeowners in this Victorian village have invited visitors inside their historic residences to share the joys of the holiday season.  The tradition continues Saturday, December 6, 2014, 3:00-8:00pm, when the Eureka Springs Preservation Society hosts the 32nd annual Eureka Springs Tour of Homes.

Ten locations are participating in this year's tour, giving guests a glimpse of a bygone era.  All stops on the self-guided tour are decorated for the season with Victorian attired docents at each site to relate the history of each home.  Each residence offers an opportunity to revisit the grandeur of the graceful Victorian era and its unique, enchanting homes.

Visitors will be treated to music, refreshment, carolers, and merriment.  Tour goers will see elegant ladies adorned in their finery and dapper gentlemen dressed in tails and ties as they stroll through the only entire downtown in the country listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

There are numerous steps, stairs, and inclines on the tour route and inside the homes.  Wear comfortable, rubber-soled walking shoes!  Allow 1-2 hours for the tour.

On the day of the tour, bring your printed ticket to St. James Episcopal Church, 34 Prospect Street, after 2:00pm and redeem your ticket for lapel pass and tour booklet.
